Girl struck by pole during large youth fight in Northeast, DC; girl and woman arrested

WASHINGTON (7News) — A young girl was struck by a pole after a large fight in Northeast, D.C., on Wednesday that involved juveniles and a woman who allegedly started a subsequent fight, officials said.

Officers were called to the 4000 block of Minnesota Avenue, Northeast, at around 6:15 p.m. after learning about a large fight involving juveniles.

Once the fight stopped, the girl was found injured after being struck by a pole. Another girl was arrested…
