NORTH BEACH, Md. — On July 4, 2026, at approximately 10:47 p.m., deputies from the Calvert County Sheriff’s Office responded to the 4000 block of 3rd Street in North Beach for the report of a stabbing.
A preliminary investigation indicates that a group of individuals had been setting off fireworks when an argument broke out, escalating into an altercation during which one individual was stabbed.
Upon arrival, deputies located the victim, identified as Tarvio Lavey Jenkins, 45, of Sunderland, suffering from multiple stab wounds to his upper body.
