Boy, 17, arrested after online sale turns into violent robbery, shooting in Northwest DC

WASHINGTON (7News) — A teenage boy is facing adult charges after a planned online sale turned into a robbery and shooting that injured a man and another teen near a Northwest D.C. charter school.

The shooting happened on July 21 when the victims arranged to meet potential buyers in the 4400 block of 7th Street, NW, to sell an item advertised online, according to the Metropolitan Police Department (MPD).
