Storm Team4 Forecast: Lovely Monday before storm chances this week

High pressure over the Great Lakes will move in our direction Monday and bring us several very nice days for this last week of August. Humidity levels started dropping on Sunday, and that trend will continue.

There have been a few showers in western Maryland, but they are falling apart as they get closer to our area, and it’s unlikely that anyone in or around Metro D.C. gets a drop. Remnant clouds will move away quickly, and our skies will be mostly sunny from mid-morning onward.

Most of the D.C. area will see highs only reaching the low 80s on Monday afternoon. Monday night and Tuesday night will be open-window weather for many, as temperatures north and west of Dulles Airport fall into the 50s.
