Virginia homicide suspect arrested in Sampson County after three-week investigation

SAMPSON COUNTY, N.C. — A Virginia man wanted in connection with a deadly shooting in Alexandria has been arrested in Sampson County.

The Sampson County Sheriff’s Office says investigators arrested 37-year-old Corey Stubblefield of Alexandria, Virginia, on Thursday, Aug. 27.
