Maryland State Troopers Save Woman’s Life After Medical Emergency at MVA

Two Maryland State Police troopers are being recognized for saving a woman’s life after she experienced a medical emergency at the Largo Motor Vehicle Administration office.

On August 13, Trooper C. Williams and Sergeant S. Barlow were working an overtime assignment at the MVA when the woman became unresponsive. The troopers immediately began performing CPR and applied an automated external defibrillator.

Their response helped restore the woman’s heartbeat before local emergency medical personnel arrived and transported her to a hospital…
