Suspect charged after man stabbed near playground in Southeast DC

WASHINGTON (DC News Now) — Police said a suspect was charged after a man was stabbed in Southeast D.C. on Wednesday night.

The incident happened in the 1400 block of Ives Place, near a kids’ playground, around 10 p.m. on Sept. 2.

D.C. police told DC News Now that once on the scene, officers located a man suffering from a stab wound. He was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
