DUNKIRK, Md. — A 37-year-old Temple Hills woman is facing a drug possession charge and a dozen traffic-related offenses after Calvert County sheriff’s deputies responding to reports of a Dodge Charger being driven “all over the roadway” allegedly found her at a Dunkirk Popeyes, where investigators said she showed signs of impairment, attempted to drink from an open bottle of wine and had suspected clonazepam inside her vehicle.
Charlotte Diane Stanford, 37, of Temple Hills, was arrested Aug. 28 and charged with misdemeanor possession of a controlled dangerous substance other than cannabis. She was also cited for driving under the influence of alcohol, driving while impaired by alcohol and multiple other traffic offenses involving alleged drug impairment, reckless and negligent driving and vehicle registration violations.
