WASHINGTON — Police are searching for the person or people who shot a woman inside an apartment building not far from Union Station on Monday night. Detectives ask anyone who knows anything to contact them.
According to a spokesperson for DC Police, First District officers were called to the 700 block of 2nd Street Northeast in NoMa for a report of a shooting around 8:30 p.m. When they got there, they found a woman who had been shot. She was conscious and breathing when she was taken to the hospital for treatment, police said.
