Maryland man shot to death in DC

WASHINGTON (DC News Now) — Police said a man from Maryland died in a shooting in Southeast on Monday, releasing his name a day after his killing.

The Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) said officers found Reginald Lamont Dorsey, 31, of Waldorf, Md. unconscious and not breathing in the 700 block of Southern Ave. SE after someone flagged them down. The location is near the intersection with Owens Road, and not far from the D.C.-Maryland line.

Dorsey died there.
