PRINCE GEORGE’S COUNTY, Md. (7News) — Prince George’s County police are searching for the driver of a stolen silver Hyundai sedan after an officer fired their weapon during an early morning encounter in the Bladensburg area Sunday.
Police first attempted to stop the vehicle around 3:55 a.m. near Annapolis Road and Edmonston Road, but the driver fled. According to police, officers later spotted the vehicle again, and an officer opened fire.
Investigators said there is no evidence anyone inside the Hyundai was struck by gunfire. Police believe there may have been additional passengers in the vehicle and urged anyone who may have been injured to seek medical care immediately…
