Two malls in Montgomery County, Maryland, announced Monday the implementation of new parental guidance regulations. This comes after a series of reports about youth violence and disorderly conduct inside the shopping centers.
Westfield Wheaton and Westfield Montgomery’s new “Parental Guidance Policy” prohibits visitors under the age of 18 from being inside the mall without adult supervision by a parent or guardian age 21 or older. That one adult may accompany up to four minors.
