A Nor’easter strengthening off the Mid-Atlantic coast will impact parts of the DMV through the weekend, with the greatest effects along the Delmarva coastline.
Ocean City, Rehoboth Beach and other coastal communities can expect a stretch of wind, rain, rough surf and coastal flooding, while some of that moisture will also work inland toward the Washington area. The storm will slowly strengthen and drift north through Saturday before gradually weakening and pulling away early next week.
