ACCOKEEK, Md. — A charter bus carrying passengers caught fire Wednesday morning along Indian Head Highway near Berry Road in Prince George’s County.
The incident occurred September 30, 2026, while the Academy Express bus was operating a route between Waldorf and Washington, D.C.
The rear driver’s side tire caught fire, and the driver was able to pull the bus to the side of MD-210. All passengers evacuated before firefighters arrived, and no injuries were reported…
