Six current or former inmates at the D.C. jail are suing the District over a “widespread” rodent and insect infestation they say has contaminated food served at the facility.
“The problem is so pervasive that they’re being cooked into the food, they’re getting into the food while it’s sitting, and they get served to the residents,” attorney Kristin McGough told WTOP.
