NEWBURG, Md. — Emergency crews from St. Mary’s County, Charles County and King George County, Virginia, are responding to a boat reportedly taking on water in the Potomac River on Friday evening, Oct. 16, 2026.
The incident was initially reported at approximately 8:19 p.m. in the lower Potomac River near Newburg.
