Montgomery County Police responded to a call for shots fired near Sligo Middle School (1401 Dennis Ave) in Silver Spring on Friday, February 9th at approximately 1:22 p.m. According to police, “there were several juveniles in the area, and they were taken into custody. We don’t have an exact number right now. Our drone was deployed to help in locating the teens. Sligo Middle School was placed on a brief lockdown. No one was injured during this incident.”
