Montgomery County Police has announced that the driver wanted in connection with a fatal hit and run collision that occurred on Veirs Mill Rd on April 8 has been arrested. Per the news release: 42-year-old Gilver Yuviny Zelaya Diaz of Silver Spring was taken into custody on Wednesday, April 24, 2024, by the Montgomery County Department of Police.
