Old-school television was simple
Virginia baby boomers will remember when we turned a dial and had only four television networks to choose from. ABC, CBS, NBC, and later PBS. The maze of navigating TV today can be troubling, and the new MeTV Toons has made this abundantly clear.
Fans of classic cartoons all over the nation are complaining that they cannot access MeTV Toons. In Virginia, it’s available free for those who use an antenna or who purchase Roku. It’s also on Frndly Streaming Service, which is less than $10.00 monthly for over 40 family-friendly channels.

No MeTV Toons or MeTV2 on Cox
You can also obtain MeTV Toons on Philo for a $20.00 monthly subscription, but if you have Cox Cable, you’re out of luck. Cox offers MeTV and, until recently, MeTV 2, which has recently been discontinued.
I spoke to a representative this morning, and the wildly popular cartoon network is unavailable and is nowhere on the horizon. Decades ago, fans of the TBN network bombarded Cox with calls until they added it to the lineup. However, there is no way to know if this will work for Virginians who desire classic cartoons.
