ROANOKE, Va. (WSET) – An Alexandria man has been sentenced to life in prison for the murder of a Roanoke woman over five years ago. In Roanoke City Circuit Court on Wednesday, Kai Lansana was sentenced to life in prison for the 1st Degree Murder, five years for statutory burglary, and three years for the use of a firearm in the commission of a felony. His total time to serve is life in prison plus eight years.
