A shootout occurred at 1221 Wythe St. on Sept. 19 around 8:15 p.m., which left one resident dead and another injured but stable, an Alexandria Police Department statement from Friday said. Kwakia Frazier, a 25-year-old city resident, died after being shot. The other adult male, age 46, was injured but is in stable condition. APD identified a third victim, a 15-year-old male, who was grazed by a bullet and received medical treatment on the scene.
