WASHINGTON ( DC News Now ) — D.C. police announced on Friday that officers are investigating two burglaries at two separate businesses up the street from each other in Northeast D.C.
The burglaries happened just over a month apart on H Street. Police said surveillance cameras captured suspects in both crimes.
The first break-in happened on Saturday, Sept. 10, at A Ma Maniére, a luxury men’s apparel and footwear store. According to the Metropolitan Police Department (MPD), officers responded to the store in the 1200 block of H St. just after midnight.
There, officers discovered that a group of suspects had forced their way into the business, stealing several pieces of “high-end clothing” before escaping.
“Yeah, they were coming out, running up and down the street,” said Rob Lynn, who says he witnessed the crime. “Then cars pulled up, and picked a bunch of them up, and took off.”
Police released the following footage of the suspects on Friday, Nov. 15:
