WAHINGTON, D.C. (7News) — A woman is in the hospital after she was shot late Wednesday night in Southeast D.C., according to the Metropolitan Police Department (MPD).
MPD said officers responded to the 4600 block of 6th Street, Southeast, for the report of a shooting around 10:40 p.m. When they arrived, officers found a woman, conscious and breathing, suffering from a gunshot wound.
