Two teenagers arrested after failed carjacking attempt in Northeast D.C. parking garage

WASHINGTON (7News) — Two teenagers were arrested for a failed carjacking attempt in D.C. on Tuesday afternoon, police said.

The teens attempted to take a victim’s car in a parking garage on the 100 block of Florida Avenue, Northeast, around 4:53 p.m. on Tuesday, May 13. Once the minors failed, they fled the scene, according to the Metropolitan Police Department (MPD).

Officers found and identified the suspects shortly afterward. Two boys, a 14-year-old and a 16-year-old, both from Northeast D.C., were charged with carjacking, MPD said…
