Sneak Peek: Alexandria Waterfront Taco Factory

The Alexandria Board of Architectural Review will examine revised design plans for Waterfront Taco Factory, coming to the space that for years has been occupied by Big Wheel Bikes at 2 Prince St. on the waterfront in Old Town Alexandria. The Board will take a look at the plans at their meeting coming up on June 5 at 301 King St. in Alexandria.

The designs are by architect Paul Beckmann. Previous renderings showed a rooftop terrace.

The 1,932-square foot eatery is slated to become “a full-service restaurant featuring gourmet tacos in a casual open bodega.”

Local builder Murray Bonitt, of Bonitt Builders, who is an owner of the new Cooper Mill restaurant, is one of the owners of Waterfront Taco Factory, according to paperwork filed with the city…
