Car dealer donates to local children’s hospital
Sheehy Subaru of Springfield recently presented a $75,000 donation to Inova L.J. Murphy Children’s Hospital as part of the 2024–2025 Subaru Share the Love Event, reinforcing its commitment to supporting local children and families facing medical challenges.
“At Sheehy Subaru of Springfield, we believe in making a difference that goes beyond the showroom floor,” said Russ Zakeri, general manager of Sheehy Subaru of Springfield. “This donation represents our commitment to the health and well-being of children in our community. We’re honored to support Inova L.J. Murphy Children’s Hospital’s incredible mission and proud of what we can achieve together with our customers and employees.”
From November 2024 through January 2025, Subaru of America pledged to donate $250 for every new vehicle sold or leased, and Sheehy Subaru of Springfield contributed an additional $50 per vehicle sold, along with $5 for every Subaru vehicle serviced during the campaign period.
