Woman killed in Southeast DC shooting identified

WASHINGTON (DC News Now) — The Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) has identified a woman who was killed in a shooting on Tuesday.

Police said officers responded to reports of a shooting at 12:41 p.m. on May 27, in the 2300 block of Pitts Place, SE, where Tequila Parker, 32, was found unconscious and not breathing and suffering from a gunshot wound.
