Man grazed by bullet during shooting near Waterfront Metro Station

WASHINGTON (DC News Now) — D.C. police are investigating after a man was grazed by a bullet during a shootout near the Waterfront Metro Station on Monday afternoon.

The Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) told DC News Now that minutes before 1:30 p.m. on June 2, officers were called to the 1100 block of 4th Street, Southwest. There, police located a man suffering from a graze wound.

A preliminary investigation revealed that two people began shooting near the metro station when the man was hit. Police believe the victim was not involved in the incident.
