Police leaders in New York City and the nation’s capital said they are ramping up security at locations across the two cities in the wake of U.S. airstrikes against Iranian nuclear facilities Saturday.
The New York Police Department said it is monitoring any potential fallout from the attacks.
“We’re tracking the situation unfolding in Iran. Out of an abundance of caution, we’re deploying additional resources to religious, cultural and diplomatic sites across NYC and coordinating with our federal partners,” the NYPD said on X. “We’ll continue to monitor for any potential impact to NYC.”…
