The Metropolitan Police Department has made an arrest in connection to a double homicide case that shocked the Southeast community late last month. On the night of May 23, officers were called to the 4200 block of 4th Street, SE, where they discovered three male victims with gunshot wounds. Despite efforts to save them, a juvenile and an adult male were pronounced dead at the scene, with a third, 14-year-old, rushed to hospital with severe injuries, as reported by MPD.
Identified by the MPD, the deceased have been named as 16-year-old Royell Walker and 19-year-old Jamar Jackson. Sean McFadden, 23, has been charged with First Degree Murder while Armed (Premeditated), following his arrest a month after a deadly event unfolded. According to an official MPD release, the arrest was made yesterday, pursuant to a DC Superior Court arrest warrant. The Major Case Squad of the MPD is still investigating the case.
