FORT BELVOIR, Va. (WDBJ) – The National Museum of the United States Army, just south of Washington, D.C. near Alexandria, Virginia, will open a special exhibition, CALL TO Arms: The Soldier and the Revolutionary War.
Revolutionary War exhibit has nearly 300 artifacts, including items never before displayed in the United States. This two-year exhibit is considered world’s most impressive collection of American Revolution artifacts on public display.
This two-year exhibition commemorates this year’s 250th birthday of the U.S. Army and next year’s 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence. The exhibit is 5,000 square feet, featuring a rare collection, specially curated by the Museum, that includes Revolutionary War artifacts from the original colonies, England, France and Canada…
