Metropolitan Police are on the hunt for two individuals connected to a recent Southeast burglary, seeking tips from locals. The incident occurred in the early hours of June 2, when Sixth District officers were called to the 4500 block of Benning Road, Southeast.
The suspects, according to the Metropolitan Police Department, “forcibly entered an establishment, stole merchandise, and fled the scene” as recounted on the MPD’s official release. In a bid to identify the suspects, surveillance footage capturing the persons of interest has been made public. While trying to link names to the faces responsible for the theft, the MPD is using community resources.
Citizens with information are urged to stay on the sidelines but to make a move by contacting the police.
