Ben’s Chili Bowl temporarily closes U Street location for repairs

WASHINGTON (DC News Now) — Ben’s Chili Bowl announced plans on Sunday to temporarily close its doors along U Street for renovations.

The Washington, D.C. staple is scheduled to close Monday, July 14, to make essential repairs and upgrades. This is the first major repair to the historic building in over six decades, and construction is expected to last for four months.
