Man arrested in Northeast DC road rage shooting, police say

WASHINGTON (DC News Now) — Police in the District said they arrested a man for a shooting that happened during a road rage incident in May.

The Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) said that shortly before 9 a.m. on May 14, 47-year-old Marcus Reavenell — later identified as the suspect — and the victim were driving in their vehicles near the intersection of Eastern and Division Avenues NE.

Reavenell tried cutting in front of the victim from a turn lane to go straight through the intersection.

The victim did not allow him to cut in front, leading Reavenell to follow him to the intersection of 58th and Foote Streets NE. He then reportedly shot at the person’s car, damaging it with gunfire…
