MPD issues lookout for truck in Northeast shooting that left man hurt

WASHINGTON (DC News Now) — The Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) issued a lookout for a truck after a man was shot in Northeast D.C. early Wednesday morning.

Minutes before 3 a.m. on July 16, officers were called to the 1000 block of Eastern Ave. for a shooting. This is where the D.C. and Maryland state lines meet.

Upon arrival, officers found a man with a gunshot wound, and medics took him to the hospital for treatment.
