ALEXANDRIA, Va. (7News) — A man who once worked as a groomer at Your Dog’s Best Friends, a popular pet grooming and boarding facility in Alexandria’s Del Ray neighborhood, has been charged with killing a dog in his care and abusing four others.
Kevin Malik Sanders, 29, of Alexandria faces one felony count of animal cruelty resulting in the death of a companion dog and four misdemeanor counts, relating to the abuse of four other dogs.
