2 adults face felony charges for vandalizing Detroit’s iconic Guardian Building, using a slingshot

DETROIT (WWJ) — Two people have been charged in connection with vandalism at Detroit’s iconic Guardian Building.

According to the Wayne County Prosecutor’s Office, 49-year-old Ramzu Yunus, of Highland Park, and 57-year-old Angela Tajuan Williams, of Waldorf, Maryland, used a slingshot to shatter the building’s glass revolving door just before 5 a.m. on Saturday morning.

Police later stopped the suspects, finding a handgun, ammunition, and the slingshot used to do the damage…
