RESTON, Va. (DC News Now) — They’re on trees, they’re on buildings, and sometimes they fly on you. The invasive spotted lanternflies have taken over the DMV.
Just about everywhere you look lately, there are spotted lanternflies.
“They’re everywhere. And they have no fear, and they don’t get out of your way, and they land on you, and they don’t fly away, and they’re gross,” Taylor Michaelides said.
