WASHINGTON (7News) — The rodent problem at the Benning Apartments in Southeast, D.C., never went away, according to neighbors, and even spread to nearby homes in recent months.
In February, 7News reported on the rats and the effort to clear out piles of trash that went uncollected for months.
A return visit to the apartment complex on Friday revealed that the trash is piling up once again, and the rats have spread out in the neighborhood.
