WOODBRIDGE, Va. (DC News Now) — A man was arrested after allegedly attacking and reaching for an officer’s gun on Tuesday, according to the Prince William County Police Department.
Police say Anthony Jermaine Bowles, 33, was in the custody of an officer around 6:30 a.m. at Sentara Northern Virginia Medical Center while he was waiting for an evaluation.

According to police, Bowles began to remove his restraints and escaped the room. Police then chased Bowles, who attacked the officer and tried reaching for his gun.
