Jury sides with family of 18-year-old killed by DC police officer in 2020

WASHINGTON (7News) — A jury sided with the family of a man shot and killed by a D.C. police officer in 2020.

Thursday’s verdict in the civil case comes after the D.C. auditor found that while the shooting was justified, the officer acted “recklessly.”
