WASHINGTON (DC News Now) — The Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) is asking for the community’s help in locating a missing 9-year-old boy who disappeared Monday afternoon.
D.C. police issued a “Critical Missing” alert for Lorenzo Hammond, 9, around 2:20 a.m. on Aug. 5.
The alert noted that Lorenzo was last seen in the 5300 block of Clay Street NE around 2 p.m. on Monday, Aug. 4.
DC police investigating deadly shooting in Northwest
Police said Lorenzo is around 4 feet tall and is between 80-90 lbs. He has brown hair and eyes and was last seen wearing a white shirt with black pants and black Crocs.
