PRINCE GEORGE’S COUNTY, Md. (DC News Now) — Six people are without a home after a fire ignited in Fort Washington on Saturday night, according to officials.
Crews responded to the fire at a two-story home in the 13000 block of Fort Washington Road shortly before 7:30 p.m., according to the Prince George’s County and EMS Fire Department. At the scene, firefighters found flames coming from the home’s garage.
Motorcyclist dies in Montgomery County collision
Firefighters quickly extinguished the blaze with no injuries reported. However two adults and four children were displaced, officials noted.
