Hearing rescheduled for man accused in deadly DC shooting of 3-year-old Honesty Cheadle

A preliminary hearing, which was initially set for Friday morning in the case against 24-year-old Charles Rucker, the man accused in the deadly shooting of 3-year-old Honesty Cheadle, has been rescheduled for next month.

Rucker was scheduled to appear in a D.C. court at 9:30 a.m. However, his hearing was moved to Sept. 26. He faces charges of first degree murder while armed after prosecutors said he walked up behind a parked car and fired six shots, hitting Honesty in the head.
