Argument at Waldorf Restaurant Leads to Stabbing; Suspect Fled in Car, Police Seeking Tips

WALDORF, Md. — Authorities are searching for a suspect who stabbed a 25-year-old man in the groin during an argument at a Waldorf restaurant early Saturday morning before fleeing in a car. An arrest has not yet been made.

The incident occurred on Saturday, August 30, 2025, at approximately 3:39 a.m., at a restaurant located at 2975 Crain Highway.

According to the Charles County Sheriff’s Office, the altercation began as an argument, during which the suspect pulled out a knife and stabbed the victim once. Callers to 911 also reported that the suspect was intoxicated and threatened other patrons with the knife before leaving…
