MOUNT VERNON, Va. — A woman stole more than $10,000 worth of Ninja Slushi machines, mostly from Targets, police said.
Christine Woodson, 31, is accused of stealing over a dozen Ninja Slushi machines. Police believe she would steal the appliances, then flee in a car before authorities could arrive.
After at least eight thefts over a couple of months, an officer with Mount Vernon Police noticed a rental van driving suspiciously on Russell Road in Hybla Valley just after 6 a.m. Police pulled over the van for a traffic stop after seeing a driving violation and found two women inside. The woman in the passenger seat told police a fake name at first, but was later identified as Woodson, who had 16 active warrants out for her arrest…
