DC police searching for group that assaulted man at bus stop

WASHINGTON (DC News Now) — D.C. police said that a group of individuals assaulted a man who was waiting at a bus stop on Monday.

Police said that the man was standing at a bus stop in the 600 block of 8th St. NE. around 12:50 a.m. A group of suspects walked up to him and assaulted him before escaping.

D.C. Fire and EMS transported him to a hospital for treatment.
