Alexandria housing authority CEO fired after he was found living in affordable unit

ALEXANDRIA, Va. (7News) — The CEO of Alexandria Redevelopment and Housing Authority has been fired after he was found living in an affordable housing unit run by the authority, according to a news release.

“The Alexandria Redevelopment and Housing Authority Board has voted to terminate the employment of CEO Erik Johnson, effective today,” the release read.
