WASHINGTON (DC News Now) — A D.C. man will spend the next 20 years in federal prison for beating a man to death in the parking lot in 2021, according to the United States Attorney’s Office (USAO) for the District of Columbia.
Alvin Alexis Cruz Garcia, 27, was found guilty in June of second-degree murder while armed after a four-day trial. He is additionally ordered to serve five years of supervised release.
