Three teens arrested for Northeast robbery

WASHINGTON (DC News Now) — D.C. police arrested three teenagers for a robbery that happened in Northeast D.C. in June.

The Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) said that on June 17, around 6:50 p.m., the victim was leaving the Brookland Metro Station when a suspect stole his headphones. He chased the suspect, who then gave the headphones to a second suspect.

MPD said that shortly afterward, one of the victim’s acquaintances saw the suspects with the stolen headphones. The acquaintance confronted the suspects, starting a struggle during which the acquaintance’s property was damaged.
